This is my first blog post. I felt happy all day listening to the Lynda.com training tapes on how to do a blog. Now, I want to experiment with it. I've invited Wayne as a team member. I would like to find other team members as well. So, if you are one of them, I would like to hear from you. We can post images, audio, and words from the site. This is very exciting technology!

The mental difficulty I had today was about whether or not to go to Crawford and be with the mothers and grandmothers for peace. Walking Mary from Bisbee called me on the phone and told me she wanted to go and if I would go with her. We talked about taking my car and then about going on the bus. On the Internet, I looked up the phone number of the Crawford Peace House where the organizing is occurring for Cindy Sheehan's protest. Walking Mary called them and they said they were expecting a thousand people coming to the protest by Monday. Food Not Bombs was coming to make food. They said there was a few spaces left in an inexpensive camp site in Crawford and they had a few spaces left to sleep on the floor at the Peace House, but the space was filling up fast.

The bus ride to Waco, TX from Tucson is 24 hours. Mary called back and said that she was buying a one-way ticket to Waco and then would call the Crawford Peace house when she got there to see if anyone could pick up her from there.

Part of me wanted to make the journey to be with the peace activists and there was another part of me that wants to work on my vision of peace from my computer. So, after thinking about it all day, I decided that the best use of my time would be to continue on my path and concentrate on getting my words out to the world.

Another good thing happened today. I got a scholarship to the Dalai Lama teaching Shantideva's Way of the Bodhisattva, Chapter 8, on Meditation.
It will be held Sept. 16, 17, and 18th in Tucson. Wayne also received a scholarship. We are very grateful to the universe for this rare opportunity.

EarthDance festival, an international dance festival for peace, will be happening on September 17th. So I will be dancing for peace with the Buddhists on Sept. 17th! I hope you will be dancing too!

This is a comment on my recent post in order to see how this feature works. This is better than most feature films!

Matriotism is an interesting new concept, how about one better, Idiotism. Mean, Idiotism: Moves us to a new level of stupidity where our loyalty transcends our citizenship to honor the precious good of civilization, that can at any moment be overthrown by barbarians invading from without and multiplying from within, to embracing and caring deeply for the evil that drives the enemies of freedom and liberty.
